# Hashtags / Metatags

**Hashtags** are an editable field — a user can change hashtags (=metatags) for his model.

**Hashtags** help users find your 3D models. Ensure each of your elements has 5-20 keywords only.

These keywords should represent what is most significant. Think about what immediately comes to mind when you see your design.

Only single-word keywords are allowed.&#x20;

### Creating effective hashtags:

* **Visual Content.** Elements of the model that stand out visually and are immediately obvious. For example, #skateboard, #armor
* **Time- or Location-related Themes.** For example, #halloween, #superbowl, #soho
* **Themes or Concepts.** For example, #superhero #anime #casual #workout
* **Color or Material.** Add these tags only if there is a strong focus on color or material. Avoid putting every color in the content

### Keywords to avoid:

* **Product names or brands.**
* **Action keywords.** For example, #eating, #fighting
* **Filler keywords.** For example, #transparent, #human
* **Clothing item.** Aim to include these in the Public name. For example, #tshirt #shirt #costume #hat #sneaker #bag
