Roblox accessories provide the ability to create unique outfits for characters due to the variety of assets and places where they can be added.
Also, the number of accessories is not limited.
Roblox accessories are just PNG images that have fixed positions on the canvas. They are laid over on top of all layers.

Contributor accessories is currently still being worked on. Expect changes on the process/requirements as we update customuse with newer features.
Similar to how you would upload your designs for full outfits uploading accessories shares the same process with a few key differences.
When creating the accessory/clothing asset it must be placed on the template appropriately.
Depending on what type of accessory it is it should be placed appropriately, at this current stage users cannot move accessories with the current features on the platform.

Similar to how you would upload complete outfits onto the contributor hub. You must separate the different elements in order for users to change the colors of the elements individually.
It's important to keep in mind that these elements should be black and white. This way users can accurately change the colors. Here's an example of how it should be separated. Notice how the strap and the bag itself are separated. Depending on what type of accessory you're uploading you might only need one paint layer.
You can watch this video going in-depth on how paint layers should work. This video is specifically made for full outfits but the same principles apply.
Texture - name_albedo_top.png
-The image size should be the standard roblox template size of 585 wide and 559 tall.
Preview - preview.png
-The image size of this should be 512x512.
Paint layer/s - paint1.png
/ paint2.png
-Depending on what type of outfit you might only need 1 paint layer.

At this current moment, there is no specific way to upload your accessories through the contributor hub. This is still being worked on.
The only way to publish your designs is through our type form!
Make sure to send us the file in a . ZIP file format.
Make sure that the name of the ZIP file is the same as the albedo file.
